Mike Brown

Mike Brown, Manager of ECA’s Washington, D.C. office, has more than 40 years of experience in the foundation construction industry. His career in the industry began at an early age in his family’s Annapolis, Maryland-based marine construction business, which specialized in constructing residential piers and bulkheads. Mike joined ECA in 1978. As an equipment service technician, he was responsible for all aspects of customer field support, in addition to the maintenance, preparation, and repair of the branch’s rental equipment fleet. The Washington, D.C. branch continued to grow, prompting Mike to be moved into the position of Sales Representative covering the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. region in 1998. He served in that role for the next 25 years, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of widely accepted foundation construction methods and equipment applications. Mike naturally developed many ongoing relationships with customers and industry colleagues as well. He was promoted to Manager of the Washington office in 2013 and continues to oversee daily branch operations to this day.
