Overview

Casing shoes can be fitted with WS tooth holders (WS 39) or weld-on teeth type BR or BH (other types of teeth are available on request).

They are particularly characterized by:

Optimal rotation characteristics
Fully welded solid wall connection between male joint section and cutting ring
Increased wear protection optionally available in the form of vertical wear plates
Cutting ring can be removed and replaced when necessary.

With increased operational demands and for long drilling tools, use of the long version of the casing shoe is recommended as the most intense strain occurs on the inner surface of the casing shoe in the area of drilling tool action. At this point, the solid-walled construction of the casing shoe ensures a long service life for the entire drill string.
